Summary

This week saw the publication of four major policy White Papers.

• ‘Planning for a Sustainable Future’ (Cm. 7120) – a White Paper on planning reform from the Department for Communities and Local Government
• 'Strengthening Local Delivery’ (Cm. 7043) – a White Paper from the Department for Transport proposing a draft Local Transport Bill
• 'Meeting the Energy Challenge’ (Cm. 7124) – a White Paper on energy from the Department of Trade and Industry
• ‘Waste Strategy for England 2007’ (Cm. 7086) – a White Paper on waste management from the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs
