Guidance
Guidance may be produced for a piece
of legislation, although this is not always the case.
Guidance can be
issued to clarify for users how the law is expected to be enforced: it is not
legislation but gives guidance on how to comply with regulations.
An
example would be the
Highway
Code, which is a summary of the laws applying to all users of the
road.
